Warren Funeral Services, Casa Grande, Arizona Franklin Duane Carter February 10, 1949 ~ December 19, 2012 VALLEY FARMS — Franklin Duane Carter, 63, of Valley Farms died on Dec. 19, 2012, in Florence. The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel, with Pastor Darwin Chandler officiating. Mr. Carter was born on Feb. 10, 1949, in Florence. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a mine equipment operator. He was well-liked, took care of people and adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed tinkering, fishing, hunting, camping and playing the lottery. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Patricia; a daughter, Brenda Schumacher of Valley Farms; a son, Brien Carter of Valley Farms; a sister, Linda Smith of Coolidge; a brother, Doyle Carter of Winkelman; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
