Dorothy Brinkman, 87, long time resident of Flagstaff passed away December 22, 2012.
She was born in Montana, and graduated from Cody High School, Cody Wyoming, in 1947. After graduation she moved to California where she worked for Western Union, there she met her husband Clifton Brinkman (deceased). They moved to Flagstaff in the early 1950’s where they raised their four children. Dorothy was an excellent seamstress and loved to sew, she also loved all animals especially dogs.
Dorothy’s children are Erlene Buttrum (Roger Buttrum), Elane Gillman (Mark Gillman), Brad Brinkman (deceased), and Brian Brinkman. Grandchildren are: Heather Jantzen, Eric Buttrum (deceased), David, Larry, Edward and Vicki Gillman, Miles Brinkman and Kailee Brinkman. She also has 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Friday, December 28th, 10am, at the Norvel Owens Mortuary. Visitation will be held prior from 9am to 9:50. Burial will conclude services at Citizens Cemetery.
