Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, Arizona Wayne Yant August 5, 1938 ~ December 8, 2012 Wayne Yant, 74, passed away on December 8, 2012 with his wife, Linda and daughter Karen by his side. He was born in Lima, OH on August 5, 1938 to the late Abraham and Helen Yant. On December 29 1961, he married Linda L. Scott. They have shared 50 years of marriage. For 48 years Wayne was an orthodontic lab technician. He was an Army veteran and could very well be the last grandson of a Civil War Veteran. Wayne is remembered for his love of fishing, hunting and great sense of humor. Wayne is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Karen (Timothy Gstohl) Yant, sisters-in-law Edith Yant & Charlotte Yant, nephews, nieces, several great nieces & nephews, also many close friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers Don Yant, Sr., Ralph Yant and his sister June Yant. Donations may be made in Memory of Wayne to Hospice of the Valley or ALS Association.
