Sunwest Funeral Home, El Mirage, Arizona Ben Bringas April 18, 1945 ~ December 1, 2012 Ben Bringas passed away on December 1, 2012. He was born in Bangued Abra, Philippines to Dr. Luis Bringas and Julia Abero Bringas. Growing up in the Philippines, Ben understood the importance of education and excelled in academics. Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Ben soon after met and fell in love with Mirope Valera. They married and had three children Tristan, Mariphet, and Unesto. Ben's attention to detail, work ethic, organization and compassion led to his success as a pharmaceutical representative, nurse and small business entrepreneur. In 2007, Ben retired in order to spend more time with his six grandchildren. Ben loved to pickup his grandkids and takes them to Wal-Mart, coming over on the weekend to bring them doughnuts. Ben also enjoyed watching and talking about boxing and attending family gatherings. Ben will be remembered for his honesty, straightforward and above all his love for Mirope, Tristan, Lisa, Robin Jr, Mariphet and his six grandchildren Alexus, Aven, Azaya, Royce, Marcus and Marielle. Ben now joins his son Unesto in Heaven. Ben's loss will be felt by all those who knew him. His memory will live on with family and friends. There will be a reception following the service at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Surprise, 16540 N. Bullard Ave, Surprise, AZ.
