Sean Christopher Stapley, 43 of Gilbert Arizona passed away suddenly on December 25th 2012. He was an Arizona native born on December 11, 1969 to Jerri Stapley Miller and Don K.Stapley.
Sean grew up in Mesa and attended Westwood High School graduating in 1988. Sean was very active in sports and excelled in football and baseball where he received all-state honors in both. He loved boating, skiing, and being outdoors. He served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Philippines and was an active member all of his life. He held many callings in the Church. Most recently, Elders Quorum President, and Young Men's President. He lived to serve others. Nurturing friendships was a great priority to him.
Sean was the founder and owner of Stapley Plumbing in Mesa Arizona. He found in all of his accomplishments, his greatest joy was his family. He loved being a husband and a father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lori; son Conner; daughters: Madison and Sheridan; his mother, Jerri Stapley Miller and her husband, Jack; his father, Don Stapley; his brother Scott Stapley, his wife Shannon (Brea, Aliycia, Frankie), brother Don Stapley and his wife Jane, mother and father -in -law Frank and Becky Weinberg, sister and brother- in -law Marni and Jeff Zarr ( Noah, Hayden, Eliza), brother and sister- in -law Brent and Nicki Weinberg ( Zachary, Cameron), sister -in -law Julie Casey and her husband Scott ( Tara, Chad, Trent, Beau), brother –in- law David Burrell and his wife Stacey (Tatum (Klete) Brittin (Mary) Brecklyn (Edwin).
Sean was preceded in death by his sister Sherry Burrell and brothers Dan and Denis Stapley.
There will be a viewing held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Gilbert Arizona Stake Center, 777 E. Elliot Rd. Gilbert AZ 85296 from 6-8 pm on Friday December 28th, 2012.
Funeral services will be Saturday December 29th, 2012 at 11am at the same location.
