Mrs. Ophelia May Grice (Stewart) was born on February 12, 1907 in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was married for over 30 years to Chester A. Grice.
Ophilia was employed as a clerk typist with Montgomery Wards for a number of years; and took an early retirement to provide day care for her granddaughter Sherri and grandson Kevin. She was an avid fan of the cultural arts; and blessed with artistic abilities herself.
Ophelia was preceded in death by her husband Chester, brothers Leon and Voyle, and sister Esther Vaughn. Survivors include her daughter Edith Ruffin, sons Maurice (wife Celestine), Albert (wife Marla), Chester (wife Blondean) and several grandchildren and relatives.
Mama will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation Tues. 4-6-04 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave. Phx. Az. with funeral service following.
