ZIEGLER, Douglas Lee

Douglas Lee Ziegler, 48, of Phoenix, AZ departed to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, April 1, 2004. He was born in Phoenix, Az on June 20, 1955 to Dr. Louis and Patsy Ziegler. He graduated from Washington High School in 1972, Biola University in 1982 and Asuza Pacific University in 1987. With a Masters in Psychology, he was a practicing family christian counselor and educator. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Ziegler with whom he was married to for 25 years and also his 4 children, Jonathan 23, Christine 20, Philip 19, and Kimberly 16. He will be greatly missed by his brothers and sister, Mike, Tom and Tricia. A visitation was held at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Phoenix, AZ on April 4th, 2004. Services to celebrate his life were held at Bethany Bible Church 6060 N. 7th Ave, Phoenix. AZ 85013 on April 5th, 2004. Doug was an active member of the Gideons International Association. Therefore in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 55214, Phoenix, AZ 85032. The Arizona Republic on 4/4/2004.
