TILSON, George


George Tilson passed away after a short illness peacefully in his sleep the early morning of April 1, 2004. George was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 5, 1925. His loving wife of 57 years. Catherine, his son Jerry and daughter-in-law Barbara, three grandchildren, Kristen, Steven and Michael Tilson and Michael's wife Alicia, survive him. George attended high school in West Allis, Wisconsin and entered the U.S. Navy in 1943. He served as a Seabee in the Pacific theater during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. George enjoyed a 44 year career in the dental supply industry in sales and management with Patterson Dental Supply, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed model railroading, western art, an occasional fishing trip and a good Martini. George is resting peacefully with the Lord... perfect...unbelievable! Prayer and visitation service was Monday, April 4th, 2004, at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Burial services were Tuesday, April 5th, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to Hospice of the Valley in his name.
