Curtis Price of Peoria, AZ a Marine and Air Force retiree passed away on March 28, 2004.
Curtis was born in Hamm, Kentucky to Noah and Laura Jennings Price on February 1, 1924 and grew up in Tams, West Virginia.
He enlisted in the Marine Corps on December 3, 1941, serving in WW2 in the South Pacific. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict and retired on June 30, 1963.
He was employed by Lockheed Martin Aerospace Co. at Luke Air Force Base and retired in June 1983. Curtis was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, a member of the Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge.
Curtis was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters and his first wife Delores. He is survived by his wife Luella, son Peter, daughters Sharon and Carla, two brothers Robert and Wilford, six grandchildren, a step daughter Annetta McAllister, a step granddaughter and three step great grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, April 10th, 2004 at Best Funeral Home, 9380 West Peoria with interment in Veterans National Cemetery at a later date.
