The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona, Thursday, December 27, 2012 Karen Faye Dodendorf, 56, of Clarkdale passed away December 24, 2012. She was born October 11, 1956 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Eugene and Janice Campbell. She worked as a pharmacy technician for many years. She later became a homemaker so she could enjoy time with her family and devote time to her grandsons. She enjoyed helping others. She loved the ocean and reading. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Lew Dodendorf; her parents, Eugene and Janice Campbell; her daughter, Kari Hunt (Rob); her son, Chad Dodendorf; her grandsons, Talon and Ayden Hunt; her three sisters, Beth Harmon, Lynne Halbasch (Jerry), and Robin Cunningham (John). A celebration of Karen’s life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Pine Shadows Clubhouse, 2050 W. State Route 89A, Cottonwood, AZ. Bueler Cottonwood Funeral Home assisted the family.
