Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on December 25, 2012 - Konrad Täge Franzen, 71, of Kingman passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1941, at Vaughns Corners, Washington County, N.Y., to William and Mary Franzen. He came to Mohave County 15 years ago from Hudson Falls, N.Y. He was a security guard, a member of the Jaycees (president in standing), and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from early '62 to '64. Konrad is survived by his wife, Carol Franzen of Kingman; his sister, Katherine F. McLean of Henderson, Nev.; his brother-in-law, John F. LeVine of Kingman; and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the United States and Sweden. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St. Interment will be at the family plot in Warrensburg, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in his memory to the American Heart Association.
