ELWOOD, James L.

James L. Elwood, 68, of Prescott, AZ., Born July 24, 1935 in Muskogee, OK. Passed away April 1, 2004 in Phoenix, AZ. 

Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; 4 sons, 1 daughter, with 1 son preceding Jim in death; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Jim served in the U. S. Air Force and retired in 1974, and also served as a Maricopa County Deputy Sheriff until his retirement in 1995. Jim will be missed by his family and all who knew him. 

A viewing was held at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ on April 4th, 2004. A memorial service was held at Cathedral Christian Center, 16635 N. 51st Ave, Glendale, AZ on April 5th. Arrangements entrusted to Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern, Glendale, AZ.
