STURM, Geoffrey Charles

Geoffrey Charles Sturm, 62, of Scott Rd, died Saturday April 3, 2004 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the son of the late Herman and Jean (Kehler) Sturm. He was born on September 13, 1941 in Bryn Mawr, PA. He graduated from Scarsdale high school in New York in 1959 went to college at the University of PA. were he played baseball and basketball varsity sports and received a business degree from the prestigious Wharton School of business. Then went on to serve his country as a Lieutenant in the US Navy were he served during the Vietnam era upon returning from the service he earned a MBA in Seton Hall. He is survived by one son Douglas John Sturm of Chandler Arizona, one daughter Patricia Ann Messer of Goodyear, Arizona, two sisters Barbara Nesland of Denver Colorado and Elizabeth Sturm of Ridley Park, PA and three grandchildren, Maxwell and Zoe Messer and Mallorie Sturm. Arrangements: Family and friends may gather Thursday April 8, 2004, at the Bergin Funeral home, 290 East Main St. Waterbury followed with a service at the funeral home burial is at the convenience of the family.
