George I. (Bud)
George I. (Bud) Gaston, age 83, of 607 Stanley Ave. in Clarksburg, W.VA. passed at 7:00 AM, Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at his residence.
He was born in Clarksburg, W.VA on March 15, 1921, a son of George Isaac Gaston and Lola Josephine (Queen) Gaston.
Twice married he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Patricia (Smith) Gaston. His second wife still resides in Clarksburg. He is survived by his sister Mary Jo Gaston Brown, his daughter, Pamela Jo Gaston Marsh, his son, John Charles Gaston, and numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren.
He graduated from W.V.U. with a degree in Engineering, and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in Scottsdale and was an El Zaribah Shriner as well. He was employed by General Electric, RCA, and was the Director of Marketing for Motorola in Scottsdale. Mr. Gaston served his country in the Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He was a good man, a great father and a best friend. There will be no visitation and a private memorial service will be held in Arizona.
