Dorothy Kelsay Duncan entered eternal life on April 5, 2004.
She was born May 2, 1920 near Campbellsville, Kentucky. Dorothy was the fifth of eight children born to Thomas William Kelsay and Margaret Bailey Kelsay. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Clemmie Dawson of Whiteland, Indiana.
In June of 1945, Dorothy and her husband Harold and daughter Shirley moved from Indiana to Arizona. A son, Dennis Lee Duncan, was born in Arizona. Dennis preceded his mother in death.
Dorothy was known as "Dottie" to her many friends and customers at A.J. Bayless Markets. She was a member of Laurel Chapter #30 of the Eastern Star and the Church on Mill.
She is survived by her husband Harold E. Duncan of Tempe and daughter Shirley D. Albertson of Tempe; her granddaughter Charlotte McCullough of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and two grandsons Derek Duncan of Kenefic, Oklahoma and Colin Duncan of Humansville, Missouri, and four great grandchildren.
Viewing was Thursday, April 8th, 2004 at Tempe Mortuary, 405 East Southern Avenue, Tempe, Arizona. Funeral at Tempe Mortuary Friday, April 9th. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 1028 East McDowell Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85032.
