Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Beulah Goodman Penrod (July 23, 1917 - December 31, 2012) Beulah Goodman Penrod, age 95, of Shumway, AZ passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 31, 2012 while in the care of her family. Beulah was born in Clay Springs, AZ on July 23, 1917 to William Ezra and Hanna McNeil Goodman. She was the youngest of ten children. She was the Post Master for 32 years in Vernon, AZ where she lived and raised her family. She was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life, having served in many different positions. She loved people and it showed in the way she served and lived her life. She is survived by her children Verla (Lenard) Hunt, Dorothy Jean (Jerry )Brewer, Floyd (Sherry) Penrod, Janet Penrod, Rodney (Connie) Penrod, Randel (Nancy) Penrod, Kim (Shanna) Penrod; by 49 grandchildren, 124 great grand children, 58 great-great grandchildren, and has five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way. Beulah is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Penrod, son Kenneth Penrod and by 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5th at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center, located on West Willow St. in Taylor. A viewing and visitation with the family will be held that morning, prior to the services starting at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, AZ.
