SPONSLER, James R.

James R. Sponsler, age 69, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2004.

Jim was born on August 8, 1934 in Springfield, Illinois to Richard E. and Alma M. Sponsler. He married Mary Lou Rodems on September 4, 1954. They raised five children.

Jim is survived by his wife Mary Lou and their five children: Mark (Mary) of Long Lake, Minnesota; Michael (Cynthia) of Erie, Colorado; Debra (Albert) Gunzenhauser of Mays Landing, New Jersey; Daniel of Thompson, North Dakota; John (Deanna) of Aurora, Colorado; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.

There was cremation and a Mass of Christian Memorial was celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Park Rapids, Minnesota on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 with Reverend Dennis Wieland presiding.
