LASKY, Sheldon Lee

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, January 02, 2013 Sheldon Lee Lasky, born Aug. 31, 1926, died Dec. 29, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann. Sheldon was a resident of Yavapai County since 1978, after retiring from the Indianapolis Police Department. While serving his country as a Marine, he landed at Guam and Iwo Jima. He also served in Korea, landing at Inchon, and was a survivor of the "Frozen Chosin." He received three purple hearts. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed walking the outdoors. They have three children, Denise, Rexan and Lee; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to the Sunrise Funeral Home, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
