Sarah Flores Jerry, 93, went to be with our Lord on April 6, 2004. Sarah was born January 19, 1911 in Austin, Texas.
She and husband Joe, relocated to their permanent residence in Tempe, Arizona in 1948. she was married to Joe for 71 years, devoting her life to family and in the service of Jesus-Christ our Lord. An active member of the Apostolic Church, Las Dorcas Choir and holding the office of Church President for several years.
Sarah is preceded in death by her husband Joe, children, Ray, Pablo, Jose, Elvira and Maria. Sarah a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is survived by her sons, Freddie Jerry and Carmelo Flores; daughters, Mary Ruiz, Juanita Ochoa, Gloria Garcia & Susan Magourik, grandson Joe B. Jerry, 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
We love and we will miss you so much "mama". We're thankful to God for blessing us with such a wonderful, loving angel.
Visitation Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Resthaven Park Chapel, followed by services. Graveside service immediately following at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Avenue, Phx, Az.
