KNIGHT,
Eilene E.
Eilene E. Knight, 83, passed away on the morning of April 5, 2004.
She was born March 7, 1921 in Jasper, Missouri.
She was a loving wife and soul mate to her husband Chet for 62 years.
Their life together, as each other's best friend, was centered around their family, building a business, traveling in their motorhome and friends. As members of the Dons Club for 41 years, they loved sharing the history of Arizona on Travelcades. The Dons and Donas became their extended family.
She leaves to her 3 daughters, a legacy of a loving and devoted mother. Her love was always unconditional. To her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, she leaves a place in their hearts that forever knows their Nana always had time for them.
She will also be remembered for her home cooking, her Thanksgiving dinners, and her beautiful handmade projects. She loved the sunsets, her rose garden and her home in the desert.
She is survived by her husband, Chet, her daughters RaeDeanne (Skip), Kae and Tricia, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life was held Friday, April 9, 2004, at 300 E. Missouri. The family requests in lieu of flowers a contribution be made to a favorite charity.
Eilene was loved and touched by all who knew her. May we all strive to be the friend, wife and mother that she left for our legacy.
