Dorothy M. (Jones) Sell passed from this life on April 5, 2004 following a lengthy congestive heart failure illness. Dorothy was born May 11, 1929 in Smoke Run, PA. to Evan and Julia Jones. Dorothy graduated from Beccaria Twp. High in Coalport, PA. in May 1947. On July 1, 1951 Dorothy was married to Arthur Merle Sell in the Methodist Church in Ramey, PA. Dorothy and Merle moved to Arizona in 1978. During the years in Arizona she was involved with making several different craft items, which we displayed and sold at Arts & Crafts sales. Dorothy is survived by her husband, daughters Pamela Jewell (Sell) Oviatt, Debra Joy Sell and Merlene Dianne (Sell) Durkit, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. A memorial service was held Monday, April 12, 2004 at Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, AZ. Donations may be made to Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ 85381 or the American Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Rd, Denver, CO. 80231. Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/8/2004.
