GRADILLAS, Joseph David (J.D.)

Sunwest Funeral Home & Cemetery, El Mirage, Arizona Joseph David (J.D.) Gradillas, 50, was always there for his family and friends. When he passed away on March 28, 2003, a piece of us all died with him. He grew up in Surprise and graduated from Dysart High School. He leaves behind his wife, Modesta, two daughters, Sandra and Natalie, two sons, Joseph David II and Joseph David III, a step-daughter, Jacqueline, his parents, Raul and Eva, and three sisters, Irene Alonzo, Olga Vasquez, Martha Benitez and many nieces and nephews. David was a hard worker, but he also loved to play. He enjoyed camping in the woods, a round or two of golf and a mean game of pool. His visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 at Sunwest Funeral Home, 15399 NW Grand Ave. Rosary will follow. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 3 at St. Charles Borromeo, 8615 W. Peoria. Burial will follow at Rest Haven, 6920 W. Northern Ave. We will forever miss you and never forget your love
