ALFARO, Gilbert G.

Gilbert G. Alfaro went to rest with our Lord on April 3, 2004. He was a loving and caring person and father. He is loved and missed by all who knew him. He was born on September 11, 1926 to Vicente and Elisa Alfaro both deceased. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Gilbert is survived by his only child, Lisa Alfaro and his faithful companion Buddy the dog. He is also survived by his brother Vicente, his sisters Oldamira Elias and Olga Malone. He is pre-deceased by his brother Armando. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his wife, Sally. A memorial was held Monday, April 12th 2004 with a funeral service at Camelback Sunset Chapel Funeral Home, 301 W. Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E.
