AYALA, Santiago (Jimmy/Sandy)

Santiago "Jimmy/Sandy" Ayala, 60, of Goodyear, and former Tempe resident, passed away April 6, 2004. 

Mr. Ayala, a 35 year employee of Phoenix Parks & Recreation, was born in Phoenix, living in the valley all his life. He was a 1962 graduate of Tempe High. 

Survivors include his 2 sons, Santiago "Jimmy" and Stevie; his daughter, Natalie (Edgar) Ramirez; his father, Edward; brothers, Edward Jr., Manuel, Ernie and Roy; sister, Irene and the mother of his children, Alice Ayala. 

Visitation was Sunday, April 11, 2004 with a rosary service at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe. A funeral mass was Monday at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1800 E. Libra Dr., Tempe. Interment at E. Resthaven Park Cemetery.
