JONES, Patricia Fay

Patricia Fay Jones, of Mesa, formerly of Douglas and Tucson, died April 7, 2004. She was born in Boston on March 8, 1932. She died at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Fay, and her son, Scott. Pat was a 15-year volunteer at Mesa Lutheran Hospital and had met with over 100 women in the Reach for Recovery breast cancer program of the American Cancer Society. Additionally, she was an active volunteer in numerous community projects while a resident of Douglas. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert; sons Daniel and Michael (Jodi) of Mesa; grandchildren Myles, Ian, Casey and Mikaela; three nephews; sister Judy Gardner of Scottsdale and brother-in-law Donald Jones of Arkansas. Private graveside services are pending. Donations may by made in her memory to Banner Hospice, 1325 N. Fiesta Blvd., Ste. #l, Gilbert, AZ 85233 or the charity of your choice.
