RUPERT, Raymond (Ray) Richard

Sonoran Skies Mortuary, Mesa, Arizona Raymond Richard Rupert December 28, 1948 ~ January 1, 2013 Raymond Richard Rupert, 64, of Mesa AZ, passed away January 01, 2013 in his home from a long battle of cancer. Ray was born on December 28th, 1948 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clairence and Alice Rupert. Ray was united in marriage to Annie Rupert on May 10th 1986 on Mother’s Day. Ray served in the U.S. Army and also in the Army National Guard. Ray’s courageous service for our country went on for 14 years including 17 months in Vietnam. After, his military service he started working at Boeing for 15 plus years where he made many friendships. Ray enjoyed many things in life such as shooting, hunting, fishing, going to the Casino and even drinking Miller Genuine Draft (The Champagne of Beers). Ray had one of the greatest senses of humor, he could make anyone laugh! Ray was very social and enjoyed talking to everyone! Ray is survived by his loving wife Annie, 3 sons Arthur, Josh and Mike, 1 daughter Christine and grand kids, Isaiah, Mary, Bradley, Wyatt, Thomas, and Abby.
