Patty V. Klocki left us on Nov. 25, 2012, at home surrounded by her family.
Born March 2, 1938, in Palmyra, Neb., to Herman and Maude Steinbronn, Patty grew up in Phoenix and graduated from West Phoenix High School's Class of 1956. She married Peter, her husband of 55 years, on June 7, 1957.
She will be remembered by all those who knew her well as a one-of-a-kind lady with a high spirit for adventure who was up for anything and wore many hats throughout her 74 years on Earth. As a master gardener, exceptional seamstress, a hands-on fixer of anything and an accomplished big game hunter, her many abilities knew few limits. Perhaps her greatest joy came while spending time at Lake Powell on her houseboat, "Pattycake," with Peter, family and many wonderful friends.
In partnership with Teresa Silva, Patty operated "Prime Cut," a hairstyling shop in Prescott, for a number of years before becoming a highly admired and respected Realtor in the early 1980s, a profession from which she retired in 2010.
She is survived by her loving husband, Peter; her three daughters, Katherine Brooks, Victoria Kulszan and Elizabeth Masucci; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and her siblings, Shirley and Del.
A private celebration of her remarkable life will take place in January.
