Kathryn Grater Campbell, daughter of Harry W. and Stella Rickard Grater, went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2004.
"Kate" was born in Black Lick, Indiana County, PA on September 22, 1921.
She graduated from Blairsville High School in Blairsville, PA and went on to graduate from St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1944. As a member of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, she served with the 236th General Hospital in Epinal, France.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steele Evans Campbell in 1977. She is survived by her daughter Melinda Rudibaugh, grandchildren Amy and Evan, and brothers Harry and Blair.
Graveside services April 10, 2004, at Valley of the Sun Memorial Park, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler.
