HERZOG, George A.

George A. Herzog of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at the age of 90. He was the eldest son of 3 brothers and 3 sisters and was born in Mount Vernon, New York on February 25, 1914. He worked as a "snapper" in the shipyards during WWII and retired from Motorola as a machinist. He, along with his deceased wife, Marie, were the devoted, loving parents of two surviving sons, George and Bob. Also surviving, is his sister Gloria Agee, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He was the kindest and most giving of men and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Visitation is open to all on Monday evening from at Mercer Chapel, 1541 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix.
