Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Tuesday, January 8, 2013 - James Edward Elliott, 80, passed away Dec. 29, 2012. He was born in Monterey Park, Calif. Nov. 20, 1932 to James and Marie Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cynthia; two daughters, Lonna Camp, of Lake Havasu City and Connie McCall, of Hamilton, Mont.; a son, Edward, of Lake Havasu City and four grandchildren. His sister, Margaret Pilkington, lives in California. His brother, Hank, preceded him in death. Before moving to Lake Havasu City, James lived in Fontana, Calif. and worked at Kaiser Steel Mill for 30 years. At one time he was an avid motorcyclist and loved to explore the desert. As a lifelong movie buff, he enjoyed working at a video store in Lake Havasu for several years. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Havasu for all their care and support.
