MOODY, Franklin Augustus

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona, Saturday, January 12, 2013 Franklin Augustus Moody, 89 years old, resided in Cottonwood, AZ, died January 8, 2013. Franklin was born October 8, 1923 in Lakeland, Fla. He was a veteran and a University Professor who taught speech and drama. He was an accomplished and respected artist. He is survived by his nieces; Mary Hurn, Pamela Irene McMahon, Linda Britt, Cindy Barry, Laurie Hoekstra, Tammy Straka, and nephew; Kenny Gablehouse. Franklin’s memorial will take place at 2 p.m, Sunday Jan. 13, 2013 at the Cottonwood Baptist Church, 102 East Pima, Cottonwood. Information provided by survivors.
