Mead (Jones) October 20, 1930 to January 3, 2013 With the New Year, Shirley started on her new journey and joined her husband (Leslie Mead - deceased) and many family members and friends who had already started the next adventure. Shirley loved the Southwest. She and Les were married in Colorado and lived many years in Tuba City, Ariz.; Kingman, Ariz.; Grants, N.M.; and retired to beautiful Prescott, Ariz. Shirley raised three daughters, Linda Kellogg (Ron Kellogg - deceased), Janet Sabol (Ron Sabol), and Marjorie Uliks (James Uliks). She had four grandchildren who meant the world to her, Kristen Smith (Andy Smith), Shelly Kellogg, Justin Sabol and Gabrielle Sabol, and two amazing great-grandchildren, Colin Smith and Ella Kellogg. Wherever she lived, Shirley made and kept good friends, and it comforts those of us left behind to know that she is with many of them now and that she is joyfully moving on in light and love. A celebration of Shirley's life will take place later in January in Prescott. Information provided by survivors.
