Lester Sam Baughman passed away Jan. 9, 2013 at his residence at the age of 61. Les was born April 2, 1951, in Brush, Colo., to Sam and Blanch (Gates) Baughman.
Les and his life partner, Cynthia, resided at Sandpoint Marina where they made many friends. Les enjoyed exploring the desert, fishing, hunting, making walking sticks and building gardens. Les was always there to lend a helping hand, loved being around people and loved life.
Les is survived by his life partner, Cynthia Sue Penn-Lange; his brother, L.J. Baughman, of Loveland, Colo.; son, Billie Joe Davenport, of Guernsey, Wyo.; granddaughters, Dezyrae and Jasmine; daughter, Angel Baughman, of Loveland, Colo.; ex-wife, Leila Koontz, of Loveland, Colo.; and his beloved canine companion, Sasha.
A celebration of Les’s life will be today, at 3 p.m. at the Recreation Hall at Sandpoint Marina.
