Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, January 16, 2013 - Develia “Dee” Marr, 92, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at The Polidori House in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Aug. 23, 1920 in Youngstown, Ohio to Joseph and Anna Angelo. She was the youngest of ten children: three brothers, Jerry, John and Tony Angelo; and six sisters, Mary Angelo, Rosie Sozio, Margaret Cappelli, Carmel Angelo, Nancy Sherman and Louise Enos. She married Salvador Marr on October 4, 1941. They had three children: Barbara (Josef), Dominic and Anthony (Dr. Liz). They lived in California and Washington and were married for 53 years. She moved to Arizona a few years ago from living in Washington. She devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and dancing the polka. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Salvador; son, Dominic and siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Josef) Miklautsch of Marysville, Wash. and son, Anthony (Dr. Liz) Marr of Lake Havasu City; many nieces and nephews from Phoenix and Ohio, known to them as “Aunt Dukie”. “Gma” also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Dietrich (April) Miklautsch, Heidi (Joel) Kuipers, Anthony (Jennifer) Marr, Dominic (Heather) Marr, George (Shannon) Marr, Samantha (John) Gaughan, Ricky Marr, Danielle Marr and Sydney Marr and 13 great grandchildren. Donations can be made in her memory to Hospice of Havasu/Polidori House. Rosary at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Friday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass is Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
