CHATTERS, Bernita Jane

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/18/2013 Bernita Jane “Hulverson” Chatters, 84, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in Mesa, at her daughter, Shirley’s residence. She was a longtime resident of Overgaard. Bernita was born Dec. 31, 1928. Bernita is survived by her husband of 64 years: Clinton Earl Chatters of Overgaard; five children: Alan (MaryAnn) Chatters of Overgaard, Virginia Mitchell of Winslow, Becky (Jerry) Harris of Shreveport, La.; Milt (Margaret) Chatters of Overgaard and Shirley (Tom) Gibson of Mesa; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Earl Chatters. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Faith Lutheran Church, 2750 Mogollon Drive in Overgaard (one block North of Highway 260). A potluck luncheon will follow the service.
