IRELAND, John Andrew

John Andrew Ireland, 56, of Phoenix, passed over on April 7, 2004. John was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, on November 11, 1947 to John McMurray Ireland and Marjorie Sagedahl Ireland. When he was a small child, John and his parents moved to Seattle, Washington. John attended Lincoln High School, graduating in 1966. John served his country in Vietnam, as a Military Police Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He, his wife Marilyn, and their 2 daughters moved to Phoenix in 1972. John was a loving father and a loyal friend who was known for his sense of humor. He will be missed by many. John is survived by his 2 loving daughters; Shannon Kimberly Ireland of Long Beach, CA., and Shelley Lorraine Ireland of Phoenix. Memorial Service Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. The family suggest memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/11/2004.
