HILBERT, Curtis Frank


Curtis Frank Hilbert, 53, left this earthly life on April 2, 2004 to continue his spiritual journey in the heavenly home of his recently accepted Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born in Highland Park, Illinois on September 11, 1950 as the first son of his parents, Dale and Georgine. He grew up in Phoenix, graduated from Camelback High School, enlisted and served proudly from 1969 to 1973 in the US Air Force. After his service, he was employed by Garrett for many years, until founding and operating his own aviation cable manufacturing and repair company. He will be remembered as a devoted son, caring brother and friend par excellence to those who knew him. Curt's amazing passion and eagerness to help anyone in need was the essence of his nature. Survivors include his loving parents, Dale and Georgine, brothers Bob and Brian, sisters Mandy Bauer and Jenny (Mike) Felix, as well as nieces Jessica and Hannah Felix, Emily and Rose Bauer, and nephew Matt Bauer, all of whom he dearly loved. Services Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, AZ.
