Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, January 20, 2013 - David Delevan Hegland passed away at his home on Jan. 12, 2013 at the age of 53 in Lake Havasu City. David was born on Aug. 13, 1959, in Mason City, Iowa, to Joe Delevan Hegland and Karen Ann Stockwell-Vieux. David has made Arizona his home for last six years and was a semi-truck owner operator. He enjoyed riding his Honda Goldwing, camping and casinos. He will be greatly missed by all. David is survived by his fiancée, Mary Nalan; mother, Karen Vieux of Apple Valley, Calif.; step father, Jim; son, Steven Hegland of Granada Hills, Calif.; daughter, Andrea (Andie) N. Hegland of Hesperia, Calif.; brothers, Joe Hegland Jr. of Apple Valley, Calif., Bradley Hegland of Apple Valley, Calif., and Scott Hegland of Adelanto, Calif.; sister, Debra (Bruce) Doran of Chino Hills, Calif.; one grandson, Nathan; several nephews and a special niece. David is also survived by his loving second family, Scott and Michelle (Nalan) Murray, Matthew Nalan, Michael Nalan and Martin Mullin. He will also be missed by his little kids “Missy and Maggy”.
