Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, January 19, 2013 - Robert Freer born June 24, 1958 in Glen Cove, N.Y., died suddenly Jan. 16, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy; son, Matthew; daughters, Natalie and Margaret and stepson, Wayne; his mother, Joan; brothers, Cliff of Lake Havasu City, Mike of Encinitas, Calif., and sister Gloria of Mesa and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff on Jan. 7, 2011. Bob had a love of old motorcycles, classic cars and animals. His favorite ongoing project was his ’66 Chevy pickup. He was a member of The River Riders Motorcycle Club. He started working in the boat building business when he was 15 years old with his dad at Stylecraft Boats. Bob was a well-respected and sought after boat builder working for Campbell, Nordic, Magic and Advantage Boats. A memorial mass will take place on Monday, Jan. 21, at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in Holy Family Parish Center after the mass.
