Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on January 16, 2013 - Charles F. Hubbs, at the age of 93, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in Kingman at the Kingman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Richland, Iowa, on Sept. 20, 1919. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Hubbs. Mr. Hubbs lived in Kingman for more than 40 years. For many years he owned his own dental laboratory in Kingman. He served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Hubbs is survived by his only child, Helen Hailey (Stanley); two grandchildren, William Hailey (Paulene) and Cheryl Stahl (Darren); and three great-grandchildren, Hunter Stahl, and Justin and Vanessa Hailey. He is also survived by his sister, Evelyn Lee (Harold) of Webster, Iowa. The family of Mr. Hubbs thanks Jerry Parker of Kingman for her friendship and kindness to him. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. in Kingman. Interment will be at the Keota Cemetery in Iowa.
