REED, Marjorie A.

Marjorie A. Reed, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed peaceably on 4-8-04. She was born on 2-17-34 in McKeesport, PA. to John Arthur and Eleanor Farrish. Marjorie resided in Warren, Ohio for 41 years and there she graduated from Warren G. Harding High in 1952, was a girl scout leader, community improvement activist, was a strong participant in numerous church activities, and was also a choir director. In 1978 she moved to Phoenix, Arizona and was employed at American Express where she retired after 15 years of service. After 3 years of intensive Bible studies at the AZUSA World Ministries Ministerial Training Institute, Marjorie graduated with honors, was ordained, and received a certificate of License in Gospel Ministry. Marjorie is survived by her husband Roy E. Reed of 29 years, daughters: Melanie Jones of Warren, Ohio, Charmaine Jones of Dayton, Ohio, Shaundra Reed, Dallas, Texas, Tonya Reed, Phoenix Arizona, and Tara Williams, Phoenix, Arizona. Sons: Charley Fisher III, Buffalo, New York, Hugh Jones II, Warren, Ohio, Aaron Jones, Warren, Ohio, Brett Jones, Phoenix, Arizona. She has 19 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 Sister Arthenia Simmons, Warren, Ohio, 1 Sister-in-Law Audrey Reed Freeman, Bristolville, Ohio, 2 brothers Mallory Jackson, Warren, Ohio, Michael Johnson, California. She was a member of Living Word Bible Church of Mesa, AZ. Visitation Thursday, April 15, 2004 followed by the Funeral Service at Living Word Bible Church, 3520 E. Brown Rd., Mesa, AZ.
