Jesse G. Ortiz, 55, of Avondale, died Jan. 13, 2013.

Mr. Ortiz was born Aug. 18, 1957, in Phoenix, to Venanicio and Paula Ortiz.

He is survived by his companion, Emilia Garcia; his son, Tommy; three daughters, Rosemary, Monica and Sunshine; three brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren.

A visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with a funeral service at noon at Advantage Crystal Rose Chapel, 9155 W. Van Buren St. in Tolleson.
