BUCK, Dorothy M.

Dorothy M. Buck was born May 31, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Hugo and Martha Ziebell. She became a child of God through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism at Nazareth Lutheran Church on June 21, 1918 and confirmed those vows for herself on March 20, 1932 at Advent Lutheran Church in Chicago. On May 18, 1947 she married Thomas Buck at Advent Lutheran Church and the union was blessed with one daughter. Dorothy was a homemaker and she and her husband lived in Illinois most of their lives and moved to Arizona in 1972. She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Clara Fletcher, Martha Engler, Leona Kopke and by her husband in 2004. She is survived by her daughter Carol and her fiance Mark Fairall, nieces, one nephew and friends. Dorothy was called to her eternal rest on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 having reached the age of 91 years, 6 months and 22 days. Visitation Monday, December 28th, 2004 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Funeral services Tuesday, December 29th, at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church 15630 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
