BUZZARD, Arnold (Buz)

Arnold "Buz" Buzzard, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on Easter Sunday, April 11, 2004, after 74 years of life and a two month battle in the aftermath of heart surgery. Born in Detroit and raised in both Detroit and Thompson Station, TN, Buz attended the University of Michigan in the 1950's and received degrees in both engineering and business. His career in the chemical industry and then the semiconductor and computer industries took him through Michigan, Texas, New York, Indiana and, finally, Scottsdale, AZ. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; and children, Jennifer Hobbs of Indianapolis, IN; Marcia Lewis of Shoals, IN; Greg Buzzard of Aptos, CA; Gunnar Buzzard and Lisa Berry, both of Scottsdale, AZ; and 9 grandchildren. Visitation Tues., April 13, 2004, at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral Mass Wed., April 14th, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 11300 N. 64th St., Scottsdale, with interment service at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale.
