Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - With a heavy heart, this obituary is written on behalf of Leslie Ann Beltran who passed on Jan. 19, 2013 at home. Leslie was born in Redlands, Calif. Nov. 19, 1957, to Joan Dahl and William Wampler, who both preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Beltran; two stepsons, Jonathan and Nathan Beltran; three step grandchildren, Brandon, Haley, and Rylee Bulkley; a brother, Mark (Ann) Wampler; and two sisters, Diana (Pat) Dahl, and Susie (John) Claus. Leslie and her husband, Dan, moved to Lake Havasu City, 2003 from Yucaipa, Calif. Leslie was employed at JCPenney and established herself as a valued employee. Leslie possessed a natural creative talent that she enjoyed expressing in her free time. She could paint a picture or turn a discarded item into a work of art. She transferred her home into a decorator's masterpiece admired by all who gathered there. If you were fortunate to be a family member or friend, your life was touched by her generosity, kindness, compassion, listening ear, and wise counsel. Her smile and laugh were infectious and your day was always brightened by her presence. Leslie's final generous gift was the donation of her physical body to Biological Resource Center to further advancements in cancer treatment and a cure. Cremation will follow and a private memorial service will occur at a future date.
