Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Friday, January 25, 2013 Frederick (Fritz) C. Sampson Fritz Sampson, 59, passed away January 13, 2013 at Flagstaff Medical Center. He served the military in Germany from 1972-73. Fritz moved to Flagstaff in 1980 from Ohio which fit his love of the Old West. He had a varied working career and retired from the Office of Navajo and Hopi Indian Relocation in March 2000. He was an avid gun enthusiast, loved the outdoors and enjoyed sharing these two loves with friends. He loved caring for his animals all of which had a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick. He is survived by his mother Barbara Laubaugh, sister Sandy (Howard), nephews Benjamin (Brigid) and Michael, friends Linda Andrews and David Craft, and his beloved dog Roxy.
