Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Ernesto T. Ortega Ernesto Ortega, age 69, of Safford, entered into rest early Friday morning, January 25, 2013, at his residence, with his loving family at his bedside. Funeral services for Ernie will be conducted Monday afternoon, January 28, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley” by Bishop James McBride of the Safford Second Ward. Military honors will be conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard and the United States Army Fort Huachuca Honor Detail. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ernesto T.
