Larry W. Patterson, age 67, an 11-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. died Monday, January 21, 2013.
He was born April 8, 1945 in Ottowa, Ill. He graduated high school in Hurley, Wis. and finished his education at Black Hills State University with a BA in business. He then moved to Rapid City, S.D. where he met the love of his life, Alyce Rokusek, and they married in Scotland, S.D. in 1970. Larry served four years in the National Guard Reserve.
His professional life included manager at Beneficial Finance, loan officer at Black Hills Federal Credit Union, owner of Star Brite Laundromat and California Tan and Tone.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in his younger years. Poker playing and the Denver Broncos were his passions after his retirement to Bullhead City in 2001.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alyce Patterson.
Larry is survived by his son, Chad (Tricia Riewer) Patterson of Valier, Mont.; daughter, Tammy (John) Derr of Nashville, Tenn.; and three granddaughters, Katie, Isabella, and Josephine Derr of Nashville, Tenn.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, Ariz.
