Phoebe Josephine Clenard, 95, of Kingman passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013. She was a resident of Mohave County for 35 years. She was born Feb. 14, 1917, to Julius and Aurelia Eschrich in Hollywood, Calif.
She married Alfred Clenard at the Little Brown Church in Hollywood in 1954. She belonged to T.O.P.S (Taking off Pounds Sensibly) and was a K.O.P.S (Keeping Off Pounds Sensibly) member. She loved gardening, tending to her husband, Alfred, and enjoyed life.
Phoebe is survived by her son, Bob Campbell; and her two daughters, Dixie Young and Billie (Scott) Casebier. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Clenard; two brothers, Dr. William Eschrich and Dick Eschrich; one sister, Elaine Lewis; and one grandson, Michael Young.
Public visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 1, at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City. The funeral service starts at 11, with burial to follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, 1698 Deer Run Drive, Lake Havasu City.
Phoebe spent the last five years at Desert Highlands. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the excellent service and care Phoebe received while at Desert Highlands.
Phoebe is glad to be reunited with her husband, Alfred, whom she missed dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her.
