Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from January 29 to February 5, 2013 - Dorothy Emily "GG" Hawkins, age 86, a 12-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Friday, January 18, 2013. She was born August 22, 1926 in Glendale, Calif. Dorothy was a loving and caring wife, mother, and homemaker, and enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and sewing. She was dedicated to her family, and we will all miss her sweet, kind gentleness. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hawkins; and son, Jim Hawkins. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Jeanne and son-in-law, Charlie Parsons of Bullhead City, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Diane of California; grandchildren, Mike and Bob Parsons, Sherri Guerrero, Amy Schubert, all of California; great-grandchildren, James, Max, Bodie, Capri, and Serena, all of California; and great-great grandchild, Geo of California.
